EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Certification (preferred)
- 3+ years of quantity cooking experience (preferred)
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
The Cook Assistant helps the Head Cook prepare meals, fills in for the Head Cook and other Dining Services positions as needed, practices proper sanitation and food handling techniques, serves lunch and supper to assigned area, supervises Dining Service Aides in assigned area, washes pots and pans, and helps maintain/stock assigned area.
